"It Was Close:" Blue Jays Almost Landed in Hartford

Banned from playing in Canada due to the global pandemic, the Toronto Blue Jays were looking for a home field for the delayed, 60-game MLB season.

As it turns out, they'll wing it to Buffalo, but they came "very close" to landing in Hartford.

That's according to Hartford Yard Goats General Manager Mike Abramson, who spoke to WTIC News Saturday morning.

"Despite the fact it didn't work out, I'm very proud of the fact that they were so enticed."
