Cudi hit the stage for a performance at ComplexCon.

Kid Cudi has had a rough 2016: One month ago, he checked into rehab to seek treatment for “depression and suicidal urges,” which helped explain some despondent, erratic diss tweets. Since then he’s continued to release new music videos, while Drake has laid into him, but he and Kanye West buried the hatchet. After seeking the help he needed, Cudi made his return to the stage last night at Long Beach ComplexCon.

Cudi was joined by Travis Scott and Pharrell and performed “Surfin’,” “Through the Late Night,” and “Way Back.” In an unguarded moment, he dedicated “Mr Rager” to “all the f—ed up kids like me.”“Y’all gonna make me cry and s—,” he said.
