Lil Wayne has apologized comments he made regarding the Black Lives Matter movement.

“I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me,” the rapper told Nightline. “I’m a young black rich motherf—er.

However, in a new statement to TMZ Wayne claims an earlier interview question had him hot and unfocused.

“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b—- and a h–, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses,” he said. “Apologies to anyone who was offended,” he concluded.
