(MTVNews.com) Drake is gearing up for another big year, beginning with the release of his latest single “Started From the Bottom” followed by a Grammy win with Take Care, and finally with the title reveal of his 3rd solo album, Nothing Was The Same. Since we got only the new title a few days ago, we weren’t expecting too many album details soon, but then Mack Maine came along with some news.

During an interview with Rap-Up TV during Grammy night the Young Money president gave an update on Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being II album and revealed that Drizzy has made some considerable progress on his latest LP. Tens songs of progress.

“Drake doesn’t have a date yet,” Maine said of the upcoming album. “Drake just put out his first street single. Whenever he wants to drop, he’ll drop. I actually heard some of it, it’s great. He’s on the same pace as he always is to drop a classic. He’s like 10 songs in. Knowing him, that’s only like 4 songs, he probably won’t keep 6 of them. He’s a perfectionist though.”
