Frankmusik Interview

[pullquote quote=”I’m like John Travolta and she’s like Olivia Newton John, it’s completely tongue-in-cheek.” credit=”Frankmusik, on the ‘No ID’ video with Colette Carr”]Already a successful performer and producer in his native U.K., [lastfm]Frankmusik[/lastfm] (aka: Vincent Frank) moved to Los Angeles two years ago to pursue his goal of creating a fresh new sound for pop music. With a skilled ear, a head full of rhythms and rhymes, and a knack for making people dance, he quickly established himself as a creative force in the studio. Production work and collaborations followed, seeing [lastfm]Frankmusik[/lastfm] create tracks with [lastfm]Far East Movement[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Ellie Goulding[/lastfm], to name just two. When he heard a demo track by Cherrytree Records artist [lastfm]Colette Carr[/lastfm], Frank immediately knew he’d found a hit. The result is their duet “No ID,” the latest single off Do It In The A.M.. Watch below as [lastfm]Frankmusik[/lastfm] gives a rare solo keyboard performance of “No ID.”
